Walks are for sighthounds only, and generally held once a month starting at 11:00 hours.  Please be aware that some attending can be nervous and not used to meeting other breeds of dogs. If you have a nervous dog please ensure it’s muzzled, and please keep all dogs on the lead at all times. There are many people behind the scenes making these walks a success - it’s a massive team effort, so come and join us - everyone welcome.

Our next monthly walk will take place on Sunday 14th June 2026 is around Witherslack, and will start at the usual time of 11:00.

The meeting point is the RGSL homing centre at Beech Hill House - LA11 6RH where people can collect a dog to walk if they wish. There is parking outside and the Derby Arms Hotel has kindly said we can park on their car park and there is plenty of parking along the old ‘back’ road.

This is a walk leaving Beech Hill House, turning left at the Derby Arms along the ‘back’ road into Latterbarrow Naure Reserve and across the fields to Church Road, then a walk back through the village to Beech Hill House where we will be serving refreshments (tea/coffee/cake). Here you can purchase your Time20 and browse the ‘shop’ for items you may need.
