MURPHY (Murphys Lough) was born in June 2019, and has been at RGSL since November 2025. He weighs 34 kg. is house trained, neutered, inoculated and microchipped. Murphy looks older than his years, is a lovely friendly lad who enjoys a cuddle. With him being anxious on his walks we've found he's more comfortable wearing a muzzle, standing close to who he's with and being told 'Murphy leave it' when he gets anxious, and he's improving. He's good with children, loves to run around, play and travels well in a car. Murphy arrived with SLO. Now on Omega3 capsules twice a day all his nails are growing back normally. We adopted Bolt who was born on the 27th March 2026, and Murphy gets on well with him.
THUNDER (Teachers Thunder) . . . was homed in August 2024, but sadly after 2.5 years he was returned, arriving back with issues we are now working with him to try and resolve so he can find his forever home. Thunder was born 12th November 2021, weighs 34.5kg, is house trained, neutered, inoculated, microchipped, walks nicely on the lead and travels well in a car, but isn't very good with other breeds of dogs at the moment so he will need an experienced greyhound owner. We adopted Bolt who was born on the 27th March 2026, and Thunder is crated next to him at night so he can get used to him. When he meets Bolt it's under controlled circumstances.
OSCAR (Honouroscarwilde) was born 5th November 2019 and weighs 34kg. Retired from racing due to his age with no injuries, Oscar is a real laid back gentleman who walks nicely in the lead, and shows no nerves at all. He's house trained, neutered, inoculated, microchipped, fine with children and from what we've seen to date okay with other breeds of dogs as well as travelling well in a car. We adopted Bolt who was born on the 27th March 2026, and Bolt follows Oscar everywhere he goes.
PENNY (Ballyboy Penny) is a black female born in February 2022, and weighs 23.5kg. She retired from racing because she lost interest, and is house trained, spayed, inoculated, microchipped, fine with children, and from what we've seen to date is okay with other breeds of dogs, enjoys playing and having a cuddle, walks lovely on the lead, and travels well in a car. We adopted Bolt who was born on the 27th March 2026, and Penny is super with him.
HOMED . . . NELLY (Great Notions) was born July 2021, weighs 25.4 kg., is house trained, spayed, inoculated and microchipped. She has a beautiful loving face, a quiet and calm nature, but is very shy until she gets to know you, more so with men than women. Once she knows you she will come for a cuddle. We adopted Bolt who was born on the 27th March 2026, and Nelly keeps a motherly eye on him. From what we've seen to date she is okay with other breeds of dogs and children, walks okay on a lead, and travels well in a car.
HOMED . . . JACK (Burgoyne Panda) was born in July 2021, and been here since September 2025. He's a lovely lad who is house trained, neutered, inoculated, microchipped, travels well in a car, and walks well on the lead, is getting used to other breeds being around, but not meeting 'face to face'. Jack used to get anxious in new situations, but this has decreased as each month passes. Jack needs time to trust you, doesn't like being overpowered so prefers to come to you for affection rather than you go to him. If he comes to you then he's a happy loving lad who loves a cuddle.
HOMED . . . BANDIT - Born on the 27th March 2026 he was one of 2 males born in an accidental mating. As a result, although a pedigree greyhound he can't be earmarked or given a racing name. Anyone taking him on must realise they are starting his training from scratch, and ideally, he's looking for a home where there is already a greyhound or similar dog who can 'mother' him and guide him along the path to maturity.

ARRIVING SOON . . . LADY (Resilient Lady) was born on the 1st September 2023, weighs 28.00 kg. is spayed, inoculated, microchipped, and we've been told she's a very quiet, shy girl who loves a fuss and a cuddle once she get to know you.
ARRIVING SOON . . . SHERLOCK (Honour Sherlock) was born in July 2019, weighs 34.5kg, is neutered, inoculated, microchipped, travels well in a car, is coming from a kennel where feral cats wander around, and retired from racing because of his age.
ARRIVING SOON . . . LUCKY (Fingers Crossed) is a male greyhound born September 2020.
ARRIVING SOON . . . LEXIE (Ada Leckie Run) is a small blue female born in August 2023. She is Donna's litter sister and weighs 25kg. We've been told she is being spayed soon, inoculated, microchipped, has a lovely nature, walks nicely on the lead and travels well in the car.
ARRIVING SOON . . . DONNA (Don Your Hat) is a small blue female born in August 2023. Is Lexi's litter sister and weighs 25kg. We've been told she stopped racing because she broke her hock, is being spayed soon, inoculated, microchipped, has a lovely nature, walks nicely on the lead and travels well in the car.
