Witherslack Walk

14th June 2026 - Monthly Greyhound Walk at Witherslack

Our Witherslack walk on the 14th June 2026 set off from the Derby Arms Hotel, and up into the nature reserve. The weather was dry, and not too warm for the dogs. Some just did the tour around the nature reserve and back to Beech Hill House for refreshments, while others did the longer walk through the wood, and across the field to the road, then back via the road to the house. Refreshments were served, purchases made from the ‘shop’, and conversations held while sitting in the comfort of the garden.
A good time was had by the 33 hounds and their humans, and the charity made £259.92. A big thank you to everyone who attended.
Our NEXT WALK will be on Sunday 12th July 2026 leaving at 11am from the dry ski slope in Kendal.
