Last year’s walk at Coniston
Our November 2026 walk will take place on Sunday 8th November, starting at Coniston Sports & Social Club, Shepherds Bridge Lane, LA21 8AL
We will be collecting £2 for each car for parking on the day.
Toilets will be open in the club on the day.
An easy flat walk along paths down towards and past Coniston Water, lots of photo opportunities!
Then back up through Coniston village, does involve a short section walking up a quiet road.
Route length is 2.9km (1.8 miles) and will take approximately 1 hour in a group.

The RGSL van will have a selection of merchandise for sale including our 2027 calendars, Christmas raffle tickets, Time20, 100% waterproof outdoor coats including hi-viz and fleeces in sizes 18" to 32", martingale collars, leads, harnesses, printed and hand made Christmas cards along with Anne Welding’s unique hand made birthday, blank and other greeting cards plus much more! Please ring if you need anything specific so we can ensure its on the van as we can’t bring everything.
Normal rules apply for the group walks - this is a walk for sighthounds only and please be aware that some hounds attending can be nervous and not used to meeting other breeds of dogs. If you have a nervous hound please ensure it’s muzzled. Dog waste to be bagged and responsibly disposed of, and please keep all hounds on the lead at all times.
