The Puppies
As you may have heard we were expecting 2 × 12 week old greyhound puppies who were the result of an accidental mating while in their racing kennel, which meant they couldn’t be earmarked or raced. One was already reserved before they arrived last Tuesday - 30th June. The one they chose was to be called Bandit. The other was to be called Bolt. After a health check at our vets where they were both microchipped Bandit went off to his new home where we’ve heard he’s settling in well, and they think him wonderful.
With Bandit off to his new home, and nothing suitable appearing for Bolt - we were looking for a home with another greyhound and/or other dog who would ‘mother’ him and guide him through to adult hood, we became ‘hooked’ on him, well and truly hooked, and besotted so much we decided to adopt him. Bolt has therefore become a resident at Beech Hill House.
