Meet Iris

Iris (colarhouse Poppy) was born 24th September 2013. Since her owner could no longer keep her, and with her special needs she arrived back last November, and is now a supported hound living with Jenny and Stuart. Iris has weak back legs so struggles to stand still for very long hence she often finishes her food sitting down (she won’t eat unless its in a stand). She loves a short walk as far as the pub and back, knows when its meal times, but sleeps a lot and will have an accident if she comes across the conservatory door shut - we feel she has the beginnings of dementia.
