Iris

It is with great sadness we had to say goodbye to Iris yesterday afternoon at 3.05 pm.  As you may know, Iris came to us last November, and shortly after she arrived we realised something was amiss.  It transpired she had the beginnings of dementia, so stayed here at Beech Hill House as a ‘supported hound’ where we gave her as full and loving life as possible. Her dementia was slowly getting worse especially the last few days, and after a great deal of thought we felt it was her time.  We had her 11 months, she was so lovely and will be sorely missed.  Rest in peace darling Iris – we are heartbroken.
