8th June 2025 walk around Witherslack

Our June 2025 walk will start from Witherslack at the usual time of 11:00. The meeting place is along the old road past the Derby Arms with the van and trailer parking in the large layby on the right - LA11 6RH. Please park along the old road and leave enough room for the van and trailer in the layby.

This is a circular walk through the Latterbarrow Nature Reserve, into the fields and along the road through the village back to where we started .

Following the walk we will serve refreshments (tea/coffee/cake) and the RGSL mobile shop will be selling an assortment of goodies including our NEW 2026 CALENDAR, Raffle Tickets, RGSL T-shirts handmade Birthday / Greeting cards, RGSL mugs, outdoor coats, fleeces and rain macs in sizes 18" to 32", snoods, martingale collars, leads, harnesses, high-viz items, the rummage boxes and much, much more. If you want to buy something specific or need a bag of Time20 please let Jenny know by message or phone 015395 5294 so she can ensure it’s on the van - we can’t bring everything.

Normal rules apply for the group walks - this is a walk for sighthounds only and please be aware that some hounds attending can be nervous and not used to meeting other breeds of dogs. If you have  a nervous hound please ensure it’s muzzled and please keep all hounds on the lead at all times. Dog waste to be bagged and responsibly disposed of.
